BareIvory Wax & Skin Studio Policies
By booking an appointment with BareIvory LLC, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all studio policies.
Appointment Retainer Policy
A non-refundable 50% retainer is required to reserve your appointment and is applied toward your service balance.
Retainers secure reserved appointment time and are non-transferable.
Appointment Changes, Cancellations & No-Shows
Appointments may be rescheduled up to 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time.
• Each appointment may be rescheduled once using the original retainer. • The retainer remains valid for 30 days from the original appointment date. • Additional rescheduling requires a new retainer. • Rescheduling requests made within 24 hours result in forfeiture of the retainer.
Cancellation of an appointment at any time results in forfeiture of the retainer.
No-shows will forfeit the retainer and may be subject to future booking restrictions.
Arrival & Check-In Policy
Clients are serviced at their scheduled appointment time, not arrival time.
• Check-in is permitted up to 10 minutes before your appointment. • Please do not arrive earlier than 10 minutes before your appointment. • Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may be asked to reschedule. • Late arrivals remain subject to the standard cancellation and rescheduling policy.
Payment & Identification Policy
BareIvory is a cashless business.
Accepted Payment Methods
• Physical card (tap or chip) • Apple Pay • Cash App Pay via tap-to-pay
Not Accepted
• Cash • Zelle • Cash App transfers • Apple Pay transfers
A valid government-issued photo ID is required at the first appointment for all new and existing clients at the new location.
The name on the ID must match the payment method used.
All payments are securely processed through Stripe.
Guest & Treatment Room Policy
For privacy, safety, and comfort:
• Additional guests, friends, family members, children, and pets are not permitted. • Clients age 16 and under must be accompanied by one adult. • Only one accompanying adult is permitted.
One Person Per Treatment Room
Only the client receiving the service may enter the treatment room.
No exceptions.
Hygiene, Health & Conduct Policy
Clients must arrive clean and properly prepared for service.
Heavy sweat, odor, poor hygiene, undisclosed medical conditions, medications, or contraindications may result in refusal or modification of service.
Retainers will be forfeited if a service cannot be performed due to undisclosed information or failure to meet service requirements.
Menstrual Cycle Policy
Waxing services can safely be performed during menstruation when proper sanitary protection is worn.
Clients who prefer not to receive services during their cycle are expected to schedule accordingly.
Menstrual cycle-related cancellations or rescheduling requests within 24 hours remain subject to the standard cancellation and rescheduling policy.
Intimate Service Conduct Policy
Any inappropriate behavior, sexual conduct, harassment, or misconduct will result in:
• Immediate termination of the service • Forfeiture of all payments made • Permanent banning from BareIvory
Communication Policy
For appointment bookings, changes, cancellations, or questions, please use the booking system or studio contact number.
Social media messages are not monitored for scheduling purposes.
Appointment-Only Studio
BareIvory is a private, appointment-only studio.
• Walk-ins are not accepted. • Same-day appointments may be available based on availability but are not guaranteed.
Service Satisfaction Policy
Concerns must be reported within two (2) days of the appointment to be considered for a corrective service.
Corrective services do not include refunds or partial refunds and are provided solely at the discretion of BareIvory LLC.
Policy Enforcement
BareIvory LLC reserves the right to refuse service, cancel appointments, restrict future bookings, or modify policies at its discretion.
BareIvory LLC reserves the right to refuse service to anyone displaying inappropriate, disruptive, unsafe, threatening, harassing, or disrespectful behavior.
